- Hi,
- I am new to Linux and am trying to get it to install on my A2000 with a GVP GForce accelerator.
- When I try to boot 0.9.7 or 0.9.13 I get the message:
-
- Data read fault at (large #) in SuperData
- Bad Kernal Bus Error Format=B
- Kernal Panic: Bad kernal trap
- In swapper task - not syncing
-
- Doen anyone have any suggestions as to where to go next. I have tried all the amiboot switches
- for the GVP boards that seemed appropriate and I am booting the Amiga without a startup-sequence
- so nothing should interfere from that side of things.
- The other boards in my machine are a 286 bridgeboard, AmaxIV and a 16bit GVP series II memory/Scsi
- adaptor. I have tried fiddling with memory settings to restrict Linux to the 9 Mb of 32bit
- RAM but to no avail.
-
- Any suggestions would most welcome as Linux looks like it is going to be very interesting to
- play with.
-
- TIA
- Richard Morris
