  11. Hi,
  12. I am new to Linux and am trying to get it to install on my A2000 with a GVP GForce accelerator.
  13. When I try to boot 0.9.7 or 0.9.13 I get the message:

  15. Data read fault at (large #) in SuperData
  16. Bad Kernal Bus Error Format=B
  17. Kernal Panic: Bad kernal trap
  18. In swapper task - not syncing
  19.  
  20. Doen anyone have any suggestions as to where to go next.  I have tried all the amiboot switches
  21. for the GVP boards that seemed appropriate and I am booting the Amiga without a startup-sequence
  22. so nothing should interfere from that side of things.
  23. The other boards in my machine are a 286 bridgeboard, AmaxIV and a 16bit GVP series II memory/Scsi
  24. adaptor.  I have tried fiddling with memory settings to restrict Linux to the 9 Mb of 32bit 
  25. RAM but to no avail.

  27. Any suggestions would most welcome as Linux looks like it is going to be very interesting to
  28. play with.
